The Bahamas has three major Medical Facilities and around 50 health centers. The 455 beds Princess Margaret Hospital is situated in Nassau. This is the largest medical facility in Bahamas. The Rand Memorial Hospital is another big hospital with 100 plus bed strength situated in grand Bahamas. The hospital is community type and offers medical, surgical and lab facilities. The Doctor Hospital is also one of the three major big hospitals in Bahamas with 70 plus bed strength. This facility also offers medical care, surgery, lab test, x-ray, ENT etc. For extreme cases patients are airlifted to main land America.
