If you are planning a trip to San Salvador, you can choose either air travel direct from Miami or land at Nassau (Bahamas) to take domestic flight to San Salvador island. The other option is sailing in a boat either from Nassau or other islands in Bahamas. Please be sure about taking a boat ride from Nassau to San Salvador island, the trip is almost 12 hour long and the boats are not luxury cruise. The long boat ride is due to distance between two islands, the San Salvador island is the out island on eastern side of Bahamas. This is the reason people prefer air travel to save time because time is precious thing in any vacation.
